NaBloPoMo Day 16: Othersideofmyhead.com 2.0

While watching 30 Rock last night, my friend V looked up from his computer and said, “She reminds me a lot of you.”

“Who, Tina Fey? Really?” I replied. “Well, we kind of dress the same, but I look nothing like her.”

“No, not physically. I mean, you’re uh, crazy like her.”

“Crazy?” I asked, mildly offended.

“Well, not crazy. More like... you get into the same crazy situations as her. You both sort of act the same. And you always have a similar smart ass look on your face.”

“I see your point. I guess I can take that as a compliment.”

And it's true, I did take it as a compliment. My life is awesome weird and I'm a total smart ass! One thing I that I don't like about this blog is that I never think to write about the crazy, awkward stuff from my past and that which continues to plague me on a near daily basis. Why don’t I write about it? Perhaps I like to keep some elements of my life to myself. Maybe I fear that no one will get it? Maybe I’m just too lazy to sit down and actually write about it. Yeah, me think it’s the latter. Since hearing that I’m like a Tina Fey trapped in Claire Danes body, I agree that my content could use a little boost of the kir-azy, and my head is already flooded with several story ideas from my past, such as:

- I flew all the way to India and almost had to sleep on the street because my company didn't give the hotel an account to charge my stay.

- I lost my job in Dublin, Ireland because I didn't want to eat breakfast.

- or the time I punched a girl in the eye for singing the lyrics to Human League’s “Don’t you Want me Baby” incorrectly (that bitch deserved it, by the way).

- Why I broke up with boyfriends A - Z.

Just a few ideas that popped into my head just now. I mean, do you really want to read all about that stuff?

Crap, now I'm craving sour cream.
