Hey Hey Hayward

Ah, the Tiger Lillies. Blasphemous, hilarious and somewhat offensive, Tiger Lillies.
I wasn’t all too familiar with the “pre-war Berlin cabaret and avant garde music hall in deranged anarchic gypsy style” that is the Tiger Lillies. But after seeing them perform last night at the Swedish American Hall above Café Du Nord in the Castro, it’s safe to say that I’m now a fan. The sound was great, the setting was intimate, and the lyrics were… true.
And bonus: my first earthquake in San Francisco will forever be associated with a song about someone getting romantic with a sheep. Err, or was it the prostitute. Hamster? Ah, I forget.

all fine here - I actually thought it was just the drummer getting a little too crazy. I had no idea it was an earthquake until someone asked me if I felt it.
