Techno Recommendo
OK, kids. I need an external hard drive and I don’t have the time want to shop around. Any recommendations for something spiffy and cost-effective (er, cheap) around 250 GB? Merci buckets.
Oh, and Happy Monday!

These guys usually have great prices but they are sort of the "TJ Max" Of computer stores. They don't always have the same inventory and occasionally, a killer deal in the ads in the Sunday paper is a better buy. Good luck!

I always use these for data backups at work:

They need any weird drivers or anything if you're running xp, they're pretty cheap, and you can get them today at Office Depot. Hope that helps!

www.newegg.com - one of my favorite sites for pc gear. You *could* buy an internal HDD, and a case, and assemble it on your own :)
